We are now looking to expand our team with a knowledgeable and driven Area Technical Manager who will bring experience, energy, and a strong client base to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and deliver exceptional customer service across your territory
  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of client accounts with tailored turf management solutions
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support business development and achieve sales targets
  • Stay up to date with the launch of new products, technologies, and industry trends and opinions
  • Represent the Avoncrop brand with professionalism and integrity

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who brings both commercial experience and technical know-how:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, ideally within the turf, horticulture, or agriculture sectors
  • Proven track record of managing an active order book and maintaining strong client relationships
  • BASIS and/or FACTS qualifications are highly desirable
  • Familiarity or experience in key turf sectors such as golf, football, racecourses, local authorities, or independent schools
  • Confident communicator, both in-person and digitally – presentations, email, CRM tools, etc
  • Technically minded with a willingness to continuously develop product knowledge
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to team goals
  • A personable, enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for supporting clients and solving problems
