The 2025 mixture contains five cultivars, three of which are recently released to the market – Barnoustie, Barquess and Dancing. Barnoustie and Barquess, with BSPB mean scores of 8.0 and above in both L4 and G3 tables promise new levels of quality for slender creeping red fescue, and Dancing enters the Chewings G2 table ranked #3. All are ably supported by #2-ranked Barlineus.
Barquess, with its pale green colour, offers particularly fast early season growth for a slender, and recent trials point to Barnoustie having a very high degree of Dollar Spot tolerance, which is also worth noting.
