We are now looking to expand our specialist team with a Stadium Turf Specialist focused on high-end stadium maintenance within professional football, rugby, cricket, and tennis. This role offers the chance to work closely with elite venues and help shape the standard of sports surfaces across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert technical support to high-profile stadium clients across professional football, rugby, cricket, and tennis sectors
- Offer tailored advice on turf renovation, nutrition, product application, and overall surface performance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stadium grounds teams, consultants, and facility managers
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to drive business growth and increase our presence within the elite sports market
- Provide product training and technical insights to Avoncrop Sales Team focused on the stadium sector
- Monitor and report on key trends, product innovations, and industry developments
- Represent Avoncrop at industry events, seminars, and on-site demonstrations
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a well connected and technically skilled individual with experience in stadium turf management:
- Proven background working with or within stadium grounds teams in football, rugby, cricket, or tennis
- BASIS and/or FACTS certification is desirable (or a willingness to achieve certification)
- Strong technical understanding of elite turf surface requirements and the pressures of televised and event-driven environments
- Excellent communicator, comfortable working with a variety of head grounds staff, directors, and procurement teams
- Passionate about innovation, detail-driven, and proud of delivering high standards
- Able to work independently, manage a varied schedule, and travel nationwide
- A team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring others
